BRIEF HISTORY OF CAMP DAVID AND MEMBERSHIP
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR EXCLUSIVE PRIVATE SPOTS IN PRETORIA CELEBRATED ITS 7th
BIRTHDAY FEBRUARY 2007
CAMP DAVID is the brain child of owners Danie & Anton who are no strangers to the gay community
of Pretoria Owning and running numerous popular gay clubs and bars for the past
3 decades incl Club Equusite which opened in 1978.
OPENING its door seven years ago in Central Pretoria, we decided to move out of central Pretoria to
Alphen Park where we have been for the past six years. A very clever move since not only did the
central city deteriorate rapidly, but we found that most of our members live and work in the eastern
part of Pretoria and that we are now easier accessible for members using the N1 from Johannesburg
& Polokwane.( the old Pietersburg.)
Many people ask whether it is "safe" to walk around naked and are concerned about the legal
implications in doing so.
Being nude in public is an offense in this country, but not in PRIVATE, therefore CAMP DAVID IS A
PRIVATE VENUE with a strict membership system to protect our patrons. If you become a member of
CAMP DAVID you agree to the terms and conditions and cannot be prosecuted for anything - that is if
you stick to the rules!
Here are the TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
BY PAYING THE MEMBERSHIP FEE AND SIGNING THE RELEVANT FORM, MEMBERS OF CAMP DAVID
AGREE TO:
1. Refrain from using drugs, selling or bringing any illegal substances into the premises
2.Agree to appear in the nude and declares that nudity of any other persons or nudity in any other
way such as photographs and films on the premises does not offend them
3.Members will not pay for sexual conduct or be paid for sexual conduct in any way
4. Members accept that membership fees paid by them will not be utilized by the
owners/management to pay any person or persons for any sexual favours or entertainment
provided
5.To pay for any drinks and items as stipulated on the bar slip
6.Accept that the club and its owners do not accept any liability for injury or loss during the period
of membership and that members enter the premises at own risk
7.Members declare that they are over the age of 18 and may not introduce any member of the
public or any person under the age of 18 other than men with the same sexual orientation to
CAMP DAVID and other members.
